GAS DISCHARGE DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE:To exclude a cut trouble of a transparent electrode by providing a pad layer for positional adjusting of a spacer inside a dielectric layer corresponding to a spacer arranging position on a panel constitution substrate on the display face side. CONSTITUTION:A pad layer 10 for positional adjusting of a spacer having prescribed film thickness inside a dielectric layer 7 corresponding to a spacer arranging position on a panel constitution substrate 1 on the side of the display surface, in which an X-electrode 5 made of a transparent conductive film of a pair of panel constituting substrates 1 and 2. The thickness of the pad layer 10 is sufficient when it satisfies the condition that a position of arranging the spacer and its periphery are flattened. Thereby, the position of arranging the spacer and its periphery on the coated dielectric layer on the X-electrode 5 including the pad layer are flattened so as to prevent slanted arrangement and positional slippage of the spacer thus removing the danger of being cut of the transparent electrode.
