Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To enhance the stirring and mixing capacity in the entire area of a container, by providing a nozzle for stirring a suspension by the jet stream injected from the leading end opening part thereof and a deflection means for succeedingly changing the opening degree of the leading end opening part of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A suspension is injected in a container 1 through an inlet pipeline 4, a freely extensible joint 15, an inlet 20, a hollow shaft 12 and a nozzle 3 as a jet stream. At this time, a drive apparatus 16 is reciprocally operated to reciprocally rotate the hollow shaft 12 and the nozzle 13 around the axis of the hollow shaft 12 at a predetermined angle and the direction of the jet stream injected from the nozzle 13 changes hourly as shown by numerals 17, 18, 19. Accompanying streams (formed at areas separated from the nozzle 13) formed around the main streams 17, 18, 19 also move so as to follow the main streams 17, 18, 19 and are met with said main streams to promote stirring and mixing.
