DATA STORAGE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To execute easily adjustment or the like related to a data output function by stimulating a data storage device to output data to be hard-copied in a computer on the basis of simulated operation, storing data outputted from the computer and optionally reading out and oututting the stored data. CONSTITUTION:A control device 4 simulates the operation of a hard copier or the like to transmit/receive a data transfer control signal and the computer interpretes said simulated operation as if the hard copier is connected and output data to be outputted to the hard copier through a data line. Said data are inputted and stored to/in a semiconductor memory 1 through data I/O ports D1-D8. The data temporally stored in the semiconductor memory 1 are optionally read out and outputted through the hard copy device.
