Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a clear quantitative analysis curve, by reducing As contained in specimen water collected from factory waste water to As and passing the treated specimen water through activated carbon. CONSTITUTION:Specimen water weighed by a weighing tube 4 is introduced into a measuring cell 8 and HCl and KI are injected in said cell 8 from a line 2 and the resulting solution mixture is stirred for about 15min by a stirrer 9 while nitrogen gas is passed through said solution mixture to reduce As in the specimen water to As. Next, the specimen water after reduction is stagnated in a bottle 1 while the specimen water weighing tube 4 and the measuring cell 8 are washed and the specimen water in the bottle 1 is passed through an activated carbon bed 14 to be returned to the measuring cell 8 while the removal of inhibiting components is performed. At this time, a definite amount of an aqueous CuSO4 solution is introduced into the measuring cell 8 in addition and Cu and As is adhered to a suspended mercury droplet electrode by electrodeposition to perform polarography. |
