ROD LEADING-IN DEVICE IN ROD ATTACHING INSTALLATION

PURPOSE:To lead in easily and surely rods by providing rod erecting devices perpendicularly to the conveying direction of a plate material and leading in the rods onto the plate material via a lifting device. CONSTITUTION:A rod attaching installation is constituted of a conveyor 3 for a skin plate 1 which is the plate material, a rod leading-in device 4 which leads in the rods 2 perpendicularly to the conveying direction of the plate material 1 and a tack welding device 5. Plural pieces of the rod erecting devices 81 are provided to the device 4 and the lifting device 82 which lifts the rods 2 and imposes the same on the devices 81 is disposed. The plate material 1 is grasped by a plate material feeder 13 and is conveyed to the prescribed position when the rods 2 are imposed by the device 82 onto the rollers of the devices 81. The rods 2 are then fed atop the material 1 by the revolution of the receiving rollers of the device 4 and are retreated onto the material 1 by a retreating device 84. The leading-in of the rods 2 is made easier and surer by the above-mentioned method.
