ROD LEADING-IN DEVICE IN ROD ATTACHING INSTALLATION

PURPOSE:To lead in more surely and easily rods by providing a carriage which carries the rods and travels in the direction perpendicular to the conveying direction of plate materials, disposing a roller device and leading in the rods onto the plate materials via the rotating driving of the roller. CONSTITUTION:The 1st conveying table 11 and the 2nd conveying table which convey the plate material 1 in the prescribed direction are provided. A plate material feeder 13 which grasps the plate material 1 and feeds the same at every prescribed pitch to the 2nd conveying table is disposed. A rod leading-in device 4 is constituted of the carriage 82 which carries the plural rods 2 and travels in the direction perpendicular to the feed direction of the plate material, the roller device 84, a retreating device 84 which retreats the rods 2 onto the material 1 and a positioning device. The rods 2 carried in by the traveling carriage 82 are lifted onto the material 1 by the device 84 and are retreated onto said material by the device 84, then the rods are tack-welded to the plate material. The rods 2 are easily and surely led in and attached to the material 1 by the above-mentioned method.
