Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To record an image with high resolution at a high speed by fusing resistive and heat-fusible powdery ink by the 1st electrode arranged nearby a means which supplies the powdery ink and scattering the ink to a recording body by the 2nd electrode which faces the 1st electrode across the recording body. CONSTITUTION:The 1st electrode 5 is arranged in contact with the powdery ink 3 held on a sleeve 2 and consists of electrodes 5a and 5b facing each other across a fine gap, and an image recording signal is applied between those electrodes 5a and 5b, so that the 1st electrode serves as a recording electrode. A chain 3a of the powdery ink 3 is formed along lines of magnetic flux while projecting toward a recording form 7, and when a positive voltage is applied to the electrode 5a, the chain 3a of the powdery ink 3 begins to fuse. A negative voltage is applied to the 2nd electrode 8 which operates as a platen. When the powdery ink 3 fuses completely, the powdery ink 3 is scattered toward the 2nd electrode 8 having a negative potential according to an electrode established by the 2nd electrode 8 and the 1st electrode 5, so that the ink sticks on the recording form 7 securely. |
