REEL DISK DRIVING DEVICE OF MAGNETIC TAPE REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To simplify mechanism and to improve torque transmission efficiency by providing all parts which constitute a reel disk driving device on a single shaft coaxially and switching torque through only one switching member. CONSTITUTION:The switching member 32 is positioned in normal playback mode at a rotational position of height H1 as shown by I1 and a coupling rotating body 31 is at the highest position. A rotation transmission path, therefore, consists of a driving pulley 23, the 1st slip clutch 34, and a roller 26 in order and the roller 26 rotates clockwise with torque determined by the 1st slip clutch 34. The reel disk driving device 20 operates similarly in forward search mode. The switching member 32 is set to height H2 in backward search mode and the roller 26 rotates counterclockwise with the sum torque of the 1st and the 2nd slip clutches 34 and 35. Similar operation is performed even in backward playback mode. The switching member 32 is set to height H3 in fast-forward or rewinding mode and the roller 26 is rotated with the torque of a capstan, so that the torque transmission efficiency is improved.
