Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for tight optical axis alignment by irradiating light or a carrier wave from the receiver side and returning a modulated carrier wave to the receiver side from the transmitter side through the use of principles of operation of a corner reflector. CONSTITUTION:Collimated beam light of non-modulation irradiated from a light source 4 of the receiver side 9 is made incident on a corner reflector 1 of a transmitter side 8, then a modulator 2 provided on one face among 3 faces of the corner reflector 1 applies modulation of reflection/non-reflection. The light reflected from the corner reflector 1 is returned to the original light source 4 at the receiver side 9 in this case and led to a photodetector 6 by directing the light to a condenser lens 5 at a reflector 3 of the receiver side 9 and the intensity change of the received light is extracted by the said photodetector 6 and demodulated to the original signal by the demodulator 7. |
