INDICATOR

PURPOSE:To reduce an occupied space and to attain three-dimensional display by displaying at least a display scale and display numerals indicating the position of an indicator under the state positioned in the space. CONSTITUTION:In a panel-like hologram 1 consisting of glass, and object image indicating the speed display scales and speed display numerals is exposed to the surface of the glass on the basis of a holography technique. An indicator 2 linearly reciprocated in proportional to the speed is made of an electrooptical indicator having a glass-sealed structure e.g. During the traveling of a car, a regenerative lighting source 3 lights up to project light always to the hologram 1. Consequently, the speed display scale 4 and the speed display numerals 5 are floated on the outside of the hologram 1 on the driver side. Since the indicator 2 is slightly projected from the hologram 1, an indicator 6 moving in the indicator 2 is moved on almost the same plane as the floating plane of the scale 4 and the numerals 5 in accordance with the speed.
