Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To promote the compactness of a device, by connecting a flat-shaped intake silencer with the end part of an intake passage and arranging this silencer in a top part of the whole heat exchanger device, in case of the device arranging an engine in a fluid tank storing fluid for a thermal medium. CONSTITUTION:When the invention is applied to an air conditioning outdoor heat exchanger device, the device, providing an engine 14 so as to vertically arrange its crankshaft 16 in a fluid tank 12 accumulating water 10, horizontally juxtaposes a cylinder block 19a and a cylinder head 19b for a crankcase 18 of the engine. The fluid tank 12 provides so as to close its upper opening a mounting flange 34, and the device sets a compressor 32 on an upper surface of the mounting flange 34 while an intake silencer 17i on the upper surface of a compressor chamber cover 27k in the upper of the compressor. While the device sets in the upper of said intake silencer 17i an exhaust silencer 37 introducing exhaust gas discharged from an exhaust pipe 21a via a primary exhaust silencer 22 and an exhaust pipe 42.
