Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To attain the extraction of carrier of which jitter is removed and hence includes minimum noise components by providing the adding means that adds the output signal from the frequency converting means to the output signal from the carrier extracting means using a phase and a signal level. CONSTITUTION:After being frequency-converted, the signal is removed from its harmonic components by a band-pass filter 116, and then under-goes a phase shifter 117. The signal is inputted to a hybrid synthesizing circuit 118, and is added to the extracted carrier f(c) from the carrier extracting circuit. The remodulation signal outputted by a hybrid synthesizing circuit 126 has a waveform similar to that of the noise component of the extracted carrier f(c) outputted by the carrier extracting circuit. Therefore, by properly adjusting the attenuation magnitude of an attenuator 114 and the magnitude of shifting of the phase shifter 117, the synthesizing circuit 118 can add, at the same amplitude and inverse phase, the output signal from a multiplier 115 and the noise component in the extracted carrier f(c). In the result, the carrier f(c)' of least jitter which is the wave f(c) removed of its noise component, is obtained.
