INTAKE SILENCER OF ENGINE FOR HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE:To apply silencing procedure by interference by forming a thin cylindrical shaped intake silencer of a facility with an engine in its liquid tank to use engine exhaust heat, and by dividing it with partition walls to create a plurality of connecting passages of different length. CONSTITUTION:An engine with its crank shaft 16 vertically positioned is installed in a liquid tank 12, and a compresor 32 is driven to operate an air conditioner and others, and a cylinder 19a, a cylinder head 19b, an exhaust pipe 20, and a muffler 22 are cooled by water of the liquid tank 12 to acquire warm water. An intake silencer 7i to silence intake air to the engine is installed with an intake port 66e to open upward, and with a discharge port 66f to open downward, and circular passages 70a-f are formed by partition walls 60a-f. As the intake air from the port 66e passes through a clockwise passage of length of (Ln) and a counterclockwise passage of length of (Lm) leading to a port 69f of the partition wall 69a, it silences by interfering each other at the port 69f. By reapeating this action, sufficient silencing is done as far as to the discharge port 66f.
