IMMUNO-REGULATOR

PURPOSE:To provide an immuno-regulator containing an organic germanium compound as an active component in combination with a carrier. CONSTITUTION:The objective immuno-regulator is produced by compounding 1pt. of the compound of formula I (n is integer of >=1; R is H, alkyl, -COOH, phenyl, etc.) with 0.01-200pts., preferably 0.05-5pts. of one or more kinds of carrier (e.g. natural polymers such as gelatin, pepsin, etc., synthetic polymers such as polyethylene glycol, protein compounds such as peptone, yeast extract, etc., or sugars such as lactose, glucose, etc.) as a stabilizer. It exhibits strong and stable physiological activity, and is useful as a remedy for tumor, viral diseases, inflammation, hepatic disorder, renal disorder and various autoimmune diseases such as collagen disease, etc. The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a halogermanium phosphoric acid complex with the compound of formula II, dissolving the resultant compound of formula III (X is halogen) in an organic solvent and adding water to the solution.
