IMAGE PICK-UP APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To obtain the image of a specimen without being affected by accuracies of camera and its revolution mechanism, by furnishing a mechanism available for correction of image pick-up position deviation after revolution corresponding to a revolution angle with the image pick-up apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The image taken by an ITV2 of the image signal of a specimen is converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 21 to be stored in a frame memory 22 and an angle of revolution of the specimen by a CPU23 through the image signal and the ITV2 is made to rotate with the same angle of revolution as that of the specimen on the basis of above result. Next, a revolution instruction corresponding to a corrected value of the image pick-up position of the ITV2 basing upon the value already stored in the memory corresponding to the angle of revolution of the ITV2 is issued to each of servo-motors 8, 10 from the CPU23 and the ITV2 is moved to the corrected position by motors 8, 10. Later, an image pick-up instruction is issued to the ITV2 from the CPU23. Thus, a data pattern is recorded in the memory 22 and by a pattern matching circuit 25 ad by this and the reference pattern of the reference pattern memory 24, pattern matching is performed for detection of the position of the specimen.
