PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To enhance an operation performing speed by storing previously correspondingly a basic pattern increasing an opening and a converting pattern decreasing the opening and comparing the existence of the basic pattern in a ladder figure and converting into the converting pattern. CONSTITUTION:A programmable controller converts a ladder figure described in a ladder figure memory means (b) by a graphic programming loader into a mechanical word of a performing type corresponding to a component in a ratio of 1:1 by a mechanical word converting means (e) and a mechanical converting memory means (f). In this conversion, a pattern converting memory means d in which more than a pair of a basic pattern in a line and a column directions of an object to be converted and a converting pattern in a line and a column directions moving symbols therein upwards and leftwards are previously stored is compared with the basic pattern in the line and the column directions stored therein and the component in the ladder figure successively to dispose a converting means c for converting a pattern. Thereby, after the basic pattern is converted into the converting pattern, the mechanical word of the performing type is obtained, so that the number of the performing steps is decreased.
