Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide the titled froze food resistant to the degradation of the core food, having excellent shape-retainability in display and storage, and giving a uniformly fried food free from breakage of the coating, by coating a core food with a coating composed of plural batter layers and bread crumb layers. CONSTITUTION:The whole outer surface of a core food 1 (e.g. cooked and formed marine product or agricultural product, etc.) is coated with a film of the first batter layer 2 (e.g. composed mainly of albumen, etc.), and then coated uniformly with the first bread crumb layer 3 (dried bread crumb having particle size of about 3mm, water content of =60% and composed mainly of wheat flour). The second batter layer 4 is applied to the surface of the first crumb layer 3, and the second bread crumb layer 5 (coarse-grained raw bread crumb having particle size of 6-15mm, water- content of =70% and composed mainly of wheat flour) is attached uniformly to the surface. The product is frozen to obtain the objective frozen food.
