Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To decrease all the positioning operating time by comparing an image bit memory at first and moving actually a camera after the memory shift state of end of final positioning is realized. CONSTITUTION:A printed board to be checked is placed respectively to two prescribed image pickup positions of a test device, the board is picked up by a video camera, image signals 1,2 are stored in each memory 3 and the memory content is compared at each corresponding address. when the different image bit number is a specified value 7 or over, the location (address) of the memory content of the image bit obtained by two cameras is shifted (5) laterally or longitudinally by one bit and compared at each corresponding address again. The address is shifted until the count of the different image bit number is a specified value or below and the head position of the video cameras is shifted by a value corresponding to the value of the relative shift (in total) of the image bit memory.
