INPUT DEVICE FOR MULTI-ITEM INFORMATION

PURPOSE:To attain the input of the multi-item information and to increase the processing speed of an input device, by setting a display device on the upper surface side of the upper part of the main body of the input device and arraying transparent touch sensors on the display device. CONSTITUTION:An input device for multi-item information consists of a lower main body 21 and an upper main body 23 which is attached turnably to the body 21 via a hinge mechanism 22. A square display device 24 is provided to the body 23, and a panel type transparent touch sensor 25 containing a diode matrix switch, etc. is put on the surface of the device 24. Then the desired input item information is inputted with operation of the sensor 25. While the body 23 contains the page selection keys 26 and content selection keys 27. In addition, the device 24 and the circuit component elements are provided to the body 21. A key sheet 28 for manual input is attached onto the device 24. Then the input item information on each page is stored in a memory in a state where a page can be specified. Thus the input of the desired input item information is possible with designation of a page when necessary.
