PATH CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain a path change with excellent response efficiently by transmitting sequentially a notice from a link state change detection node to each node via adjacent nodes. CONSTITUTION:The node has a line control section 11 making transmission/ reception with adjacent nodes, a path selection table 12 holding an output path at each destination node, a path selection section 13 selecting an output path at each destination and a status change processing section 14. The status change detection section 14 has a status change detection section 21 detecting the status change of a link adjacent to the node, a path changeover/reswitching section 22 for change/over reswitching of a path using the path selection table 12 when the status change detection section 21 detects a link status change or it is noticed, and a status change notice section 23. The status change notice section 23 informs the result of path switching/reswitching to an adjacent node as required.
