Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain dyed acetal resin molding having beautiful lustrous appearance without color shading, high color fastness to light, high fastness to washing, and high fastness to friction by subjecting the molding to a heat treatment under specific conditions prior to dyeing. CONSTITUTION:When dyeing is made by a dispersion dye in a temperature range of 50-150 deg.C, an object to be dyed is subjected to a heat treatment at 80-165 deg.C for 0.5-600min., preferably at 130-160 deg.C for 1-140min., prior to dyeing in the air or an inert gas. The heat treatment may be made even in a medium not to damage the acetal resin, and the medium includes oils having high boiling points and high resistance to oxidation, etc. In the case of oils immiscible with water, defatting is needed prior to dyeing and even for miscible oils. Since the surface to be dyed under the heat treatment condition has uniform crystallinity most suitable for dyeing, dyed moldings excellent in colorfastness, lustrousness, light resistance, and fastness to washing and friction can be obtained.
