COLOR TONER FOR DEVELOPING ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE

PURPOSE:To obtain a color toner having superior fixability at low temp. and a satisfactory nonoffsetting property and capable of forming a color image having high quality by using a specified vinyl polymer as a binder resin and adding specified pts. wt. of a releasing agent. CONSTITUTION:The vinyl polymer having a mol. wt. distribution in which it has at least one maximum in each of two region; the low mol. wt. region of 10 -5X10 mol. wt. and the high mol. wt. region of 10 -5X10 mol. wt. is used as a binder resin. A chromatic colorant and a releasing agent are dispersed in particles of the binder resin to obtain a color toner. Other additives are further added as required. The amount of the releasing agent used is 1-10 pts. wt. per 100 pts. wt. binder resin. In case of 10 parts, the flowability of the toner is deteriorated.
