Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a plaster for external use, having excellent anti-inflamma tory and analgesic effect, free from skin-irritation and toxicity, and suitable also as a sealing therapy, by coating a substrate with an acrylic adhesive layer containing amfenac sodium as a drug component. CONSTITUTION:Amfenac sodium (chemical name: 2-amino-3-benzoylphenyl-acetate monohydrate sodium) having excellent anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is added to an acrylic adhesive. The adhesive is a copolymer of an alkyl (meth) acrylate and a monomer having amide bond in the molecule (preferably diacetone acrylamide). The acrylic adhesive keeps the amfenac sodium in stable state, and improves the drug releasability. The staining of the skin and the stringing phenomenon can be prevented by using an adhesive composed of a copolymer containing a polyfunctional monomer as a constituent component.
