MEASURING POINT INPUTTING DEVICE FOR X-RAY FILM THICKNESS METER

PURPOSE:To enable designation of a measuring point in a short period of time, by installing image picking up TV camera and memory, etc., for storing the measuring point on the image sample picked up by this camera. CONSTITUTION:Shape and position in the image of a sample 2 picked up by a camera 3 are stored in a memory 4c through a CPU apparatus 4b. By a controller connected to the CPU apparatus 4b, after adjusting a cursor 5a on a display 5 with a required point on the sample image, a switch of the controller is operated, the cursor position i,e. the measuring point position is introduced into the memory 4c. After introducing all the points, and a measuring start switch is operated, then by a command from the CPU4b, an XY stage 1 is driven for automatic measurement of the designated measuring point.
