Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain a printing-controlling circuit capable of being constituted of a smaller number of memories, by a construction wherein a memory means for storing not less than a one-page amount of printing data, a memory means for storing font information and a memory means having two or more storage areas are provided, and printing of data stored in the storage areas is sequentially conducted in the order of completion of storage of data CONSTITUTION:When a one-page amount of printing data are stored from a host CPU (a) into a page buffer 1, an MPU2 reads corresponding font information from a font memory 3 on the basis of the printing data, and stores the font information into a memory-A6. When storage of the information into the memory-A6 is completed, the MPU2 starts printing by a printer (b) through a parallel-to-serial converting circuit 5. When the memory-A6 is being used for printing, the MPU2 stores font information into a memory-B7 and a memory- C8. When printing associated with the memory-A6 is completed, printing associated with the memory-B7 is staryed. Thus, the font information is stored and used for printing, in the order of the memory-A6, the memory-B7 and the memory-C8. |
