Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform film by preventing the wrinkles of the film on a roll, by forming a groove functioning as the escape passage of involved air to a backing roll. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a thin film 1 with a thickness of 1.5mum and a width of 500mm comprising polyethyleneterephthalate is sent to a backing roll 10, air is also involved in the backing roll 10 with the running of the film 1. In this case, for example, by providing 70 grooves each having a width of 0.5mm and a depth of 0.4mm to the backing roll 10 at the pitch equal to a coat margin part, air involved between the roll 10 and the film 1 can be escaped and the generation of wrinkles is prevented.
