PROCESS INPUT AND OUTPUT DEVICE OF SEQUENCE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To cope with high flexibility with the different input/output specifications or the change of specifications of a sequencer itself, by using a setting means to perform switching between the input and output means as well as the input and output point numbers and to set the answer time of the input. CONSTITUTION:A setting means 120 performs switching between the input and the output and sets the number of inputs and outputs as well as the answer time. An input control means 102 performs the input filtering to the input signal given from an external device read by a reading means 101 in response to said setting operation. Then the means 102 fixes the input state and stores this fixed state to the 1st memory means 103. This stored data is delivered to a bus 150 by a bus control means 130. While an output control means 112 supplies the data supplied from the bus 150 and given to the external device via a bus control means 130 and stores the data to the 2nd memory means 113. Then this data is delivered to the external device and held there.
