EXAMPLE:2-Amino-4-(2-acetyl-4-thienyl)thiazole. USE:Useful as a drug such as antiulcer agent, remedy for cerebrovascular disorder, etc. PREPARATION:The compound of e.g. formula III can be prepared by reacting the compound of formula II (Hal is halogen such as Cl, Br, etc.) with thiourea, usually in an inert solvent such as methanol, ethanol, propanol, acetone, etc., at room temperature or under heating.
