MOUNTING OF ENGINE, ACCELERATOR AND THE LIKE TO AUTOMOBILE BODY IN MIXED TYPE MOUNTING LINE

PURPOSE:To make compact the line by enabling efficient production of such type of automobiles as having different engine mounting position through same line. CONSTITUTION:In engine, accelerator preparing line 12, front axle, engine and rear axle of respective specification are flowed in accordance to the order of automobile bodies to be fed then classified into front or rear wheel fixing parts and mounted separately onto the trucks 14, 15. Mounting of front axle onto the front wheel truck 14 and fixing of engine and auxiliary parts to the automobile body in front engine automobile are executed at the position E1 near to the body suspending position A. While mounting of rear axle onto rear wheel truck 15 and fixing of engine and auxiliary parts to the body in rear engine automobile are executed at the position E2 near to the tire fixing position E.
