Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent piling of fibers on the top of a feed roller, by boring a hole at a position corresponding to a cover feed roller at the opposite side of a rotating shaft fixation side of a roller, and forming a protrusion with a specific shape on the top of the feed roller. CONSTITUTION:The through hole 15 having a little larger diameter than the feed roller has is set at a position corresponding to the feed roller 4 of the cover 14, and the protrusion 16 having a diameter lessening as the position approaches the tip is formed on the top of the feed roller 4. Fly waste, etc., round the top part of the feed roller are sent to the through hole 15 set on the top of the feed roller, so that poor grasping of sliver caused by winding growth of fly waste will not occur.
