MAINTENANCE INDICATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To automatically compensate the set value for an inspecting time and make the indication of inspection proper by providing a compensating means which compensates a new set value which is changed over to be suited to the next inspection time by a changing means after an inspection indicating signal is generated, in accordance with the using condition of a car. CONSTITUTION:When one of the conditions of achieving a traveling distance of 10,000km, a term of 2 months, and an actual operating time of 30hr is fulfilled, an indication of inspecting for the replacement of oil is warned being indicated on a display 15 while an adding processing is carried out, rewriting the number of replacements of oil from A=0 to A=1, and storing it, in a nonvolatile RAM8. Next, when A is not reached to 8 times, it is judged whether four times is attained and, when judged no, each set values of 5,000km, 4 months, and 150hr are added to each of the values at present as the next oil replacing time, changing each of the set values and rewriting each data of the RAM8. Due to this processing of operation, an warning indication for indicating the replacement of oil is generated on the display 15. Thereby, an operator can replace an engine oil and erase the warning indication on the display 15 with a reset switch 16, carrying out compensation each time oil is replaces.
