ALARM METER IRRADIATION AND PROOFREADING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To shorten the proofreading work and checking work of a worker to a large extent, by automatically checking the functional state of an alarm meter and automatically proofreading a pulse number-mR conversion constant. CONSTITUTION:Alarm meters APD1-APDn are set to a receiving case1(S1) a receiving casen(Sn). An irradiation start order is issued from the keyboard (4-2) of a control part 4 and radiation is allowed to irradiate APD. At the same time, the count operation of APD is started. Each APD counts radiation and issues an alarm sound when the coun value reaches a set alarm value or more. When the time from the start of irradiation to the sounding of a buzzer is set to TBUZi(i=1-n) and the time before reaching a prescribed alarm set value to TSTD, if a ratio Ri=TBUZi/TSTD is present in a predetermined tolerant constant range, it can be judged that APD is well. When out the tolerant constant range, if the converting constant in APD is altered so as to satisfy formula new converting constant = old converting constant X TBUSi/TSTD, accurate proofreading can be performed.
