HYDROGEN GAS EXHAUST DEVICE

PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrogen gas exhaust device with excellent durability by inserting a heating body into a hydrogen discharge pipe so that a portion of the heating body is contacted to an inner wall face of the hydrogen discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 2 introducing hydrogen gas generated in an absorption freezer into a vessel 1 is connected to the iron vessel 1, and a palladium metal hydrogen discharge pipe 3 whose both ends are opened to atmosphere is passed through the vessel 1 and brazed by silver solder to the vessel. And a pillar heater H1 is inserted into the hydrogen discharge pipe 3. By this constitution, the heat of the heater H1 is directly transmitted to the hydrogen discharge pipe 3 different from the conventional constitution in which the heat is transmitted indirectly to the hydrogen discharge pipe 3 through the vessel 1, then the temperature of the brazed portion 6 of the pipe 3 and the vessel 1 becomes less than that of the hydrogen discharge pipe 3. Therefore, comparing with the conventional device, corrosion of the brazed portion 6 of this device can be reduced and durability can be improved.
