CONTROL DEVICE OF WRAPPER ROLL

PURPOSE:To reduce an equipment cost and operation cost, in comparing and correcting of set values of a wrapper roll position, by operating the fixed time difference of a detecting position and by performing a stabilized high responding control with introducing the fixed time difference of the difference thereof further into a comparison arithmetic unit. CONSTITUTION:The position control of a wrapper roll 3 in the down collier of a strip 1 is made the correction control to operate a hydraulic cylinder 5 by a servo valve 11 by comparing the position detected value 8 of an arm 4 with a set value 9 and an arithmetic unit 10. In such case, the difference in the fixed time intervals of the position detected value 8 is operated 14a and further the difference in the fixed time intervals of the difference thereof is operated 14b and fed back to the arithmetic unit 10. The damping characteristic proper to the movement of machines is given and a safe and high responding control is performed. The equipment is made inexpensive and operation cost is reduced as well without using an acceleration detector nor damper, etc.
