APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING WINDING OF FIBER TO FEED ROLLER IN OPEN-END SPINNING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To prevent the winding of fibers to a feed roller, and to enable the spinning of a spun yarn having high quality, by placing a scraper having a specific shape to the circumference of a feed roller for feeding a sliver to an opening roller. CONSTITUTION:In an opening apparatus for feeding opened fiber to the spinning rotor 11 of an open-end spinning machine, a scraper 16 curved along the circumference of a feed roller 4 is placed detachably to the circumference of the feed roller 4 for feeding the sliver 3 to the opening roller (combing roller) 6. The tip of the scraper 16 is brought into contact with or placed in close proximity to the surface of the feed roller 4 at the point where the feed roller 4 is closest to the opening roller 13.
