Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To decrease the turn-off time of a bipolar Darlington transistor (TR) while avoiding from being extended as the case with the saturating state by operating the TR without bringing the collector and base of a driver TR for the bipolar Darlington TR. CONSTITUTION:When a current given from a base drive current source 1 to a base of the Darlington TR2 is increased, the increment of the base current is clamped via a diode 14 and a Zener diode 15, a current over the saturated current of the base-emitter of the TR is not given to the base of the Darlington TR2 thereby avoiding the Darlington TR2 from being over-driven. Thus, the storage time of the Darlington TR2 is nearly halved in comparison with the storage time when the collector-base is saturated completely and the turn-off time of the bipolar Darlington TR2 is reduced remarkably. |
