Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent a motor from overheating or a motor drive element from overheating by reducing the amplification factor of a preamplifier by an analog switch when an abnormal state is detected. CONSTITUTION:The input/output terminal of an analog switch 17 is connected in parallel with a feedback resistor 18 which decides the gain of a preamplifier 5, the switch 17 is closed immediately when an abnormal state is detected by an OR circuit for gating the signals of latch circuits 14, 15, 16 at the control terminal of the switch 17 to extremely reduce the amplification factor of the preamplifier 5. Thus, the increase in the current is rapidly inhibited to extremely reduce the possibility of demagnetizing, overheating the motor, overheating of the motor drive element, displacement from the safety operation range and the damage of a mechanism due to runaway.
