Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To cool a boil-off gas without need for consuming excessive energy by keeping a refrigerant cooled by means of a low temperature liquefied natural gas delivered from a storage tank, and cooling a boil-off gas from said storage tank, which goes to excess when the delivery of said natural gas is reduced or stopped, by means of said refrigerant which has been kept cooled. CONSTITUTION:At the time of normal delivery, a high-temp. refrigerant is sent out of a high-temp. refrigerant tank 11 into a cooler 13 by means of a pump 12 and, then, sent through a line 14 into a low-temp. refrigerant tank 21 and stored there. When the quantity of delivery becomes less than the quantity of a boil-off gas being generated, causing the boil-off gas to be partly in excess, a valve 51 is opened to flow the boil-off gas in excess into a cooler 23 while, at the same time, a pump 22 is operated to flow the low-temp. refigerant stored in the tank 21 into the cooler 23, and the boil-off gas is liquefied due to the effect of hot- cold cycle of the low-temp. refrigerant, and is refluxed into an LNG storage tank 31 through a line 54.
