Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To attain a writing test as well as the constitution of an optional test pattern by constituting an extra fixed memory cell for test in an unwritten state. CONSTITUTION:Fixed memory cells 25 are arrayed in a matrix to form a PROM, and a column dummy cell 130 and a row dummy cell 140 of the same quality as cells 25 are added to the PROM for test purpose. It is possible to perform a writing test using the same writing current as the actual specifications, a writing system test, the test pattern constitution during generation of a worst pattern, etc. with use of the above-mentioned cells.
