ANTIULCER AGENT COMPRISING NOVEL (1)BENZEPINO (3,4-B)PYRIDINE DERIVATIVE AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I [R is H, or alkyl, halogenated alkyl, etc.; X is O, or S; R is group shown by the formula V (Y is amino, hetero ring, etc.; Z is H, alkyl, or acyl; n is 1-3)] and its acid addition salt. EXAMPLE:5-[ 2-( Diethylamino )ethyl ]amino-5,11-dihydro[1]benzoxepin[3,4-b]pyridine. USE:An antiulcer agent. PREPARATION:A compound shown by the formula II is reduced to give a compound shown by the formula III. The compound shown by the formula III is further reacted with a halogenating agent (e.g., thionyl halide, etc.), to give a compound shown by the formula IV or its acid addition salt. It is reacted with an amine [Z'-NH-(CH2)n-Y (Z' is H, 1-5C alkyl), etc.], to give a compound shown by the formula I . An antitumor agent containing it as an active ingredient. A dose is 10-50mg/person/day.
