CONTINUOUS RESIN COATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To coat a resin easily, efficiently, and continuously by installing an induction heating coil arranged around a traveling metallic wiry body and a powdered resin and air mixing chamber through which the metallic wiry body is passed at the same position. CONSTITUTION:A metallic wiry body 14 whose surface is continuously cleaned is passed through a powdered resin and air mixing chamber 17 and an induction heating coil 15. The wiry body 14 in the coil 15 is heated to a specified temp. by impressing a high-frequency or a low-frequency power having a specified frequency to the coil 15. Before the wiry body 14 reaches the outlet end of the coil 15, the melting and depositing of a powdered resin 18 is started. The deposited amt. increases with the increase in temp., and the thickness is also increased. After a specified time determined by the line velocity, the part passing through the coil is cooled by the air carrying the powder 18, and the wiry body 14 with a solidified or unsolidified resin layer on the surface is taken out to the outside of the chamber 17.
