Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a composition for hot compression molding, producible relatively easily and having high mechanical strength, by mixing an olefin polymer with chopped glass strand. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by mixing (A) 40-95wt% olefin polymer [preferably having a melt index (at 190 deg.C under 2.16kg load according to JIS K-6760) or a melt flow index (at 230 deg.C under 2.16kg load according to JIS K-6758) of 0.01-80g/10min] and (B) chopped glass strand having a fiber length of 5-50mm. (and having a fiber diameter of preferably 6-30mu). The composition can be formed to a flat plate or curved plate having high curvature by hot compression molding, and is expected to be useful for a product requiring high strength, e.g. automobile parts, electrical appliance, etc.
