Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out the grinding work with a high degree of accuracy, by providing a touch sensor to the forming head of a grindstone forming device so that a shift in the position of the forming head due to the thermal dislocations of a column and a grindstone is compensated in accordance with the measurement of the position of a reference block on a table. CONSTITUTION:The position of a reference block 19 on an X-axis slide is measured with the use of a measuring arm 16, and is delivered as a reference value to an NC program drive device which sets the X-Y coordinates for formation of a grindstone. Then a table 18 is stopped at the terminal end of its stroke, and the X-axis slide 8 is moved by means of a motor 9 after the arm 16 is lowered down to the position of the reference block 15'. The position of the X-axis slide 8 at the moment when the touch sensor 15 is made into contact with the reference block 19, is read, and the difference between the position and the reference value is delivered to the NC program drive device to shift the X-coordinate. Further, simultaneously with the data input the arm 19 is raised so that it is stored into a measuring unit, and with the use of the coordinate system which is compensated unitl the table 18 is returned to its original position, a grindstone is formed in accordance with the NC program. Thus, the thermal dislocation may be compensated, thereby a workpiece is ground with a high degree of accuracy. |
