Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To make a device simple and to prevent malfunction and trouble by providing a transmission part which oscillates an electric signal of a high frequency to a holder of a welding electrode and a reception part to a control part and enabling control of a power source only with the transmission cable for welding power. CONSTITUTION:A titled device consists of a welding rod 1, a transmission cable 3 which is connected thereto and is used as a signal transmission line as well, a power source part 2, a control part 7 which controls variable quantity, a transmission part 6 and a reception part 9. Said part 6 is attached to the holder of the rod 1 and the electric signal for control is transmitted from said part to the transmission line. The above-described reception part 9 is provided in combination with the control part 7 and detects the electric signal sent from the transmission line. The power source of an arc welding machine is controlled only via one transmission cable 3 by the above-mentioned device, by which malfunction and trouble are prevented.
