SAMPLE FOR TENSILE FATIGUE TEST OF REINFORCING BAR

PURPOSE:To obtain a sample for the tensile test of a reinforcing bar, which can be prepared in a short time at a low cost and has excellent workability, by forming the inner and outer layers of a pair of circular-cylinder shaped or elliptical grasping parts, through the central part of which the reinforcing bar passes, by a specified material. CONSTITUTION:An inner adhesive resin layer (b) is closely contacted with a reinforcing bar (a). A protecting layer (c) is closely contacted with the outside of the layer (b). Thus unitary grasping parts are formed. The cross section of each grasping part is circular or elliptic. The inner layer comprises a polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, or the like having a hardness of 50-95, a tensile strength of 150kg/cm or more, and repture ductility of 1-35%. As the protecting layer (c), a resin such as a hard vinyl chloride resin, an ABS resin, or the like, whose strength is larger than that of the layer (a), metal such as aluminium, copper, iron, or the like, or alloy is used. Thus, the sample for the tensile test of the reinforcing bar, which can be prepared in a short time at a low cost and has excellent workability, is obtained.
