Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To perform fillet welding with high accuracy in continuous horizontal fillet welding of a box-shaped structure by correcting exactly the spinning of a carriage and the aiming position of a torch even if side walls and front wall are inclined and even if the angle between the side and front walls deviates from a right angle. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism for detecting the side wall surface of a carriage 4 is provided with a pair of guide arms 5, 5 which project laterally from the front and rear parts of the side face of the carriage and can be turned and locked, a fulcrum shaft 41 fitted at the intermediate part to the front end of one of said arms by a horizontal revolving shaft 42, a pair of profiling rollers 40 attached to the top and bottom ends of the shaft 41 and a potentiometer 44 which is connected to the shaft 42 and detects the angle of inclination of a side wall 3. The above-described mechanism for detecting the wall surface is provided with a limit switch LS disposed to face the front wall surface 3, the 1st potentiometer POT-1 disposed apart in a horizontal direction from the switch LS and the 2nd potentiometer disposed apart in a vertical direction from the 1st potentiometer.
