AUTOMOBILE'S AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE:To prevent moisture from collecting on a glass and improve the heating effect in an air conditioner equipped with a heating unit by taking in inside and outside airs on the windward side via an air chamber and electing air from duct-shaped passages leeward via respective heater's heat-exchangers. CONSTITUTION:By turning a double-shaft motor 33, fans 31 and 32 induce inside and outside airs 22 and 21, respectively. If a temperature control lever 52 is set to the maximum heating position, for example, air mixing dampers 37 and 38 take the position corresponding to said maximum position, namely, are fully opened to carry the entire air to a heater 35. The air is then heated while passing through separated heating units 35A and 35B and thereafter sent toward a defroster supply opening 24 and a ventilation supply opening 25. By turning a mode change-over lever 54, operation mode is changed variously and in addition, by performing combination operation of each of dampers 41 to 43, air is conditioned in various modes, whereby preventing both collection of moisture on window glasses and reduction in heating effect.
