CONSTITUTION:A layer transmitting no ultraviolet light is formed on one side of a two-layered structure consisting of a color developing layer 1 and an ion feeding source 2 formed in contact with the layer 1 to obtain a color developing element having a multilayered structure. Light is irradiated on the element from the side not covered with the layer transmitting no ultraviolet light to develop color, and the color is vaniched by impressing an electric field to the two-layered structure.
