BARREL PLATING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which eliminates the need for a cap for an aperture and is simple and is easily operatable by the constitution in which a perforated wall provided on the outside of a horizontally placed barrel having the aperture on the circumferential surface is temporarily engaged with the barrel and is driven to rotate as the barrel rotates. CONSTITUTION:A hexagonal barrel 2 provided with an aperture 7 and many holes 6 on the circumferential surface is horizontally laid and rotatably disposed in a treating vessel 1. Said ballel is supported and pivotally fitted to supporting frames 4a, 4b at shiafts 3a, 3b extending from both side walls thereof and is driven to rotate by a gear 5 thereby providing a barrel plating device. A perforated wall 8 which rotates along the outside circumference of the barrel 2 is provided on the outside of the barrel 2 and a projection 9 is provided as an engaging means to the circumferential wall of the barrel 2 so that the wall 8 is temporarily engaged with the barrel 2 and is driven to rotate as the barrel rotates. Then continuous plating is accomplished while the wall 8 closes the aperture 7 when the barrel 2 rotates counterclckwise. The barrel 2 is half rotated clockwise upon finishing of the plating and the material to be treated is discharged through the aperture 7.
