Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To improve running property, wear resistance and electromagnetic converting characteristic by providing a thin film consisting of at least one kind of compd. selected from a 1,1-difluoroethylene polymer, 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene polymer and the copolymer thereof at least either on a thin magnetic metallic film or the rear surface of a base of the thin magnetic metallic film. CONSTITUTION:A thin film consisting of at least one kind of compd. selected from a 1,1-difluoroethylene polymer 1,1',2-trifluoroethylene polymer and a copolymer of the 1,1-difluoroethylene and 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene is provided at least either on a thin magnetic metallic film or the rear surface of a base provided with the thin magnetic metallic film. There is no particular limitation in the compsn. ratio of the fluoropolymer which is the compd. of the above-mentioned three groups. Polyfluorovinylidene of 100mol% 1,1-difluoroethylene and polytrifluoroethylene of 100mol% 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene are included as well. The mol.wt. of the copolymer is preferably >=5,000, more preferably >=10,000.
